Cannot access CD-ROM in protected mode due to drive requires a real mode driver.
Cause:
CD-ROM drive is not compatible with Windows 95 protected mode drivers.
Solution:
Reinstall the CD-ROM drive with a real mode driver.
1) Open the 'Device Manager'.

2) Select the 'View devices by type' radio button, and double-click on 'CD-ROM' in the 'View devices by type' list box.
3) Select the CDROM drive driver and click 'Remove'. (The 'Confirm Device Removal' dialog box appears.)

4) Click 'OK'. (The 'System Settings Change' dialog box appears)

5) Click 'Yes'.
6) Run the setup program for the CD-ROM drive real mode (MS-DOS ) driver.
